Install XYPHERON

XYPHERON can be installed directly onto your phone, tablet or computer as a web app. Once installed, launch XYPHERON from the app icon instead of opening it through your normal browser.

Android

Google Chrome

Open XYPHERON

Open xypheron.chat using Google Chrome.

Open the Chrome menu

Tap the three-dot menu in Chrome.

Install XYPHERON

Select Install app or Add to Home screen .

Confirm installation

Tap Install . XYPHERON will be added to your device.

Launch from the app icon

Close Chrome and open XYPHERON from your Home Screen or app drawer.

iPhone / iPad

Apple Safari

Open XYPHERON in Safari

Open xypheron.chat using Safari.

Tap Share

Tap the Safari Share button.

Add to Home Screen

Scroll through the available actions and select Add to Home Screen .

Open as Web App

If your iPhone shows the option, ensure Open as Web App is enabled.

Tap Add

Confirm the installation. The XYPHERON icon will appear on your Home Screen.

Launch XYPHERON

Open XYPHERON using its new Home Screen icon rather than opening Safari first.

Important

The normal browser address bar may still appear when you visit XYPHERON directly through Chrome or Safari. To use XYPHERON in its app-style window, install it first and then launch it using the XYPHERON icon on your device.

How do I know it worked?

You should see a dedicated XYPHERON icon on your Home Screen or app list.

Opening the icon should launch XYPHERON in its own application-style window.

You should not need to manually type the XYPHERON website address each time.

Your existing XYPHERON login, messages, groups and communication features continue to work through the installed app.
